Videography

Video is not my primary medium - it is something I started with initially, and I did a number of projects before ultimately deciding to focus more on photography. However I do have a good grasp of the fundamentals required to make a good video project: creating shot lists including camera movements, understanding camera settings, working with led lights, and storyboarding and planning so that the shoot is organized.

I have shot both handheld and using a gimbal, indoors and outdoors, with and without on-set audio recording. My first start in media was as an audio engineer, so I have very solid audio skills, and have used Rode Wireless Go II mics on a number of video projects, recording the audio to my Sony camera using the Rode hotshoe receiver and a pair of transmitters.

I have used Adobe Premiere extensively and have developed a reasonably quick and efficient workflow for handling timeline editing, color grading and codec/output settings. Below are a few examples of video projects I’ve worked on.
